I'm Thankful for my Country

I'm Thankful for My Country

I'm Thankful for my Country,
For living in the U.S.A.,
For freedom is the best,
Where you can run and you can play.

I'm Thankful for my Country,
I'm even glad for flaw,
Where I can be filled with anger,
And I can be filled with awe.

I'm Thankful for my Country,
I can gaze at wondrous fountains,
I can jump and yell when wanted,
I can climb the tallest mountains.

I'm Thankful for my Country,
I believe in it, too,
I believe in Uncle Sam,
And he believes in you.

I'm Thankful for my Country,
I'm Thankful for vacation,
I'm Thankful for my own roof,
I'm Thankful for this nation.

I'm Thankful for my Country,
This land given by Lords,
For literary novels,
And sweet musical chords.

I'm Thankful for my Country,
For having my warm bed,
For having enough water,
Else I'd be good as dead.
